For dining rooms, activity rooms and day rooms
One piece. Dishwasher safe. Nothing to lose.
A moulded base that sits on the table and holds a glass steady when a sleeve catches it. No seams, no hinges, no hardware, and nothing that detaches — so there is nothing to clean around and nothing to go missing.

—What is already available to you
Everything in the supply catalogue is equipment.
Weighted mugs, two-handled cups, lidded spouts, dysphagia cups. They are all real products that help real people, and every one of them is something a resident has to drink out of — which means every one of them announces itself on the table.
You are furnishing a dining room, not a ward. That is the whole difficulty with this category.
Everything in the catalogue is equipment. This is tableware. Their own glass goes in it, and it reads as something the room already owned.
—The part that repeats
The glass goes over, and the table gets reset.
- Mid-meal
A sleeve catches the water glass between courses. The cloth comes off and the setting is rebuilt while the meal stands.
- Mid-activity
A table gets nudged during an activity and two glasses go. Now the activity stops and becomes a cleanup.
- The one that costs most
Not the spill — the reset. It is the same table, the same square of cloth, most days.
—Does it actually work
It wobbles. Then it settles.
A knock, a lean, somebody sitting down. The base is 5.2 inches across and the drink returns level.
Filmed on a couch cushion — a softer surface than a dining table, which makes it the harder test.
—How it holds
A wider edge to cross.
The base
5.2 inches across, fixed. It moves the edge the glass would have to tip over much farther out, so the whole thing has to lean much farther before it goes.
The fins
Six of them, taking the bottom inch. Glasses and tumblers drop in; cans and bottles slide on. Glass and base then rock as one piece.
The surface
The TPU plants the base where it is set and lifts away clean. It marks nothing and lifts clean.
—Specification
The five questions, answered.
These are the questions a dining room asks, in the order it asks them.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can it be cleaned? | One solid moulded piece. No hinges, springs, seams or hardware — nothing to open and nothing to trap. |
| Does it go in the dishwasher? | Yes. Rinse it, wipe it, or run it through with everything else. |
| Is there anything to lose or break? | Nothing detaches. There are no parts, no lids and no fasteners. |
| Can we get enough of them? | Packs up to eight on this page. Above that, email a person — see the limit in what it does not do. |
| Will it look institutional? | Matte, twelve colours, and the resident’s own glass goes in it. It reads as tableware. |
—The object
Dimensions and material.
Nothing to assemble and nothing to install. It goes on the table; the glass goes in it.

—What it fits, and what it does not
It does not take a handled mug. Read this before you order forty.
The honest no. A mug with a handle does not seat — the handle lands exactly where the fins grip, so it perches instead of settling. That removes coffee and tea service from what this product can do, and in a dining room that is a whole service period.
What is left is still most of the table: the water glass and the juice glass, which sit there through a meal and through an activity, and which are what a sleeve actually catches. Tumblers, cans and bottles seat too. We would rather you knew that now than after a case of them arrived.
Containers are physical truth; drink names are aliases for them.
The quick test, before you order in quantity
A standard sticky note is 3 inches square. Stand one of your glasses on one. If the base sits inside the paper, it seats. If it overhangs, measure it or email hello@steadilabs.com and you will get an honest answer either way, including a no.
—Where they go
Tables first, then the rooms where people sit longest.
Dining tables are the obvious ones. After that it tends to be the activity room and the day room — anywhere a glass is set down and then forgotten about for an hour.
Colour is per-station in the picker, so a room can be kept to one colour if that is easier to keep track of.
—What the alternatives cost
We are not the cheapest. We are the one that is not equipment.
Prices were looked up, not estimated. Each of these does something real; each of them replaces the vessel.
| The fix | Price | What it asks of the room |
|---|---|---|
| Weighted cup with lid | $19.99 | Genuinely helps some people hold a cup. It is also a different cup on the table. |
| Clear two-handle mug | $36.14 | Works, and reads as clinical from across the room. |
| Two-handled cup, budget | $7.51 | Cheaper than us. Still a different cup. |
| Homecraft polycarbonate mug | $19.46 | Replaces the mug. |
| The Senior Cup Holder | $69.95 for eight — $8.74 each | Nothing. Your glassware stays your glassware. |
If a resident needs help holding the cup, a weighted cup does something we do not. That is a different purchase and it is the right one.

—From people who bought one
None of these is from a care facility.
They are from households, and we are not going to imply a facility bought one. They are here because they describe the surface and the set-down. Verbatim and unedited.

Love my Steadis! This is one of those products that you don’t know you’re missing in your life until you use it. I’ve been using these to stabilize our drinks on the couch. This way I can put it right by me rather than a few feet away on the coffee table. It’s like a cupholder that goes with your drink. Highly recommend, great value for what it does!

Steadi works very well in stabilizing my drinks on soft surfaces, like the couch or by the chair I use as a nightstand.

Love these! We have a huge sectional, so we can’t always reach an end table but now we don’t need to. Even we the dogs jump on the couch nothing spills.

OMG!!!!! YOU HAVE TO BUY THESE!!!!!! i tested it out today on an old tv tray (wood and very slippery) and put a soda in it and played like “oops i bumped my tray” (and really hard) and NADA, NOPE, NOT AN INCH OF MOVEMENT from the STEADI. everything else went flying!!! cuz dummy me didn’t remove those other items first 🙃 duh!!! and no it was not suctioned to my tray cuz it doesn’t do that. but WOW!!!!! what a great invention. wish i was thinking up this GREAT IDEA, instead of binge watching TRAITORS tv shows and SPILLING my soda as i jump with excitement/anger over the show. the plus side, while flipping thru FB (while the commercial is on) or i’m cleaning up my spilt soda 🤪….. i saw this ad and it was like angels were singing “BUY ME AND UR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED”. so glad i did. they work great!!! i bought the 4ct from actual website and it shipped quick and packaging was perfect. all 4 colors are great!! black, white, deep terracotta (plant holder) color. very very nice color. especially during the fall. and a muted warm sage color. very nice also. FYI:: i forgot to mention, i even tested this out with a 8oz dinner cup and it worked perfectly. but put the cup in FIRST then add beverage…..LOL learn from my dumb remark of “i can get it around the cup filled to the brim and not drop a lick of this drink. well WRONG!!!! 😑 LOL!!! user error not the STEADI. buy this and trust me u won’t want to return it. oh and it is comfortable to hold. and actually, now i can set my can of soda down with a mighty slap on the table and a huff and puff in disgust, if my tv show is calling for my dark side to come out in anger, of their decision of who to banish on TRAITORS (US/UK/NZ/ and now CANDA)!! ENJOY!!!! and THANK YOU TO THE INVENTOR!!!!! i hear it’s a father of 3. 🤷♀️

18 more, photographed by the people who bought them
Sent in with their reviews. Tap any one to read it. Different rooms, different drinks, different colours — none of them staged by us. Some of these buyers were offered a small store credit for sending a photo; nothing was offered for what the review said, and none of them were shown to us before they posted.
—The limits, in one place
What it does not do.
- It does not take a handled mug. Coffee and tea service is outside what this product does. Said at the top and again here, because it is the thing most likely to matter to a dining room.
- We are not set up for institutional purchasing. No volume pricing, no purchase orders, no net terms, no W-9 or tax-exempt process, and no distributor. Above eight it is an email to a person.
- We make no infection-control or sanitation claim. It is one piece and it is dishwasher safe. Those are facts about the object. Whether that meets your protocol is your call, not ours.
- We make no safety claim of any kind, and none about staff time, workload or any quality measure. We have no data and will not pretend to.
- It is not spill-proof — nothing is. It resists tipping. A hard enough knock moves anything.
—If it is wrong for your room
Ninety days. Used is fine. You do not ship it back.
Put them on the tables and see what a week does. If it is not right, email hello@steadilabs.com and you get your money back — no form, no restocking fee, no questions about condition. That is the whole process, and it is the same for eight as it is for one.
- You order. Free shipping, every order, always.
- It leaves Orange, California within one business day.
- USPS, 2–5 days, tracked.
—Who makes it
Steadi Labs. One person, and that is not a slogan.
Scott Rodriguez made the first one after a full drink went over on a soft cushion with three kids under three in the house. It is injection moulded in small runs a few miles from his desk in Orange, California, and every order ships from the zip code it was made in. Patent pending.
It matters here more than on most pages: the email address on this site reaches him, which is why larger orders are arranged that way. If you need a vendor with an account manager and a contract, that is not what this is yet.

—Questions
Straight answers.
Can it be sanitised to our protocol?
We are not going to answer that for you, because it is your protocol and we do not know it. What we can tell you is the object: one solid moulded piece of Shore 85A TPU, with no seams, hinges, springs or fasteners anywhere on it, and it is dishwasher safe. Whether that satisfies your process is a decision for your infection-prevention lead, not for a website.
How do we buy fifty?
By email, at hello@steadilabs.com, and it will be a person answering rather than a system. There is no volume pricing, no purchase-order process and no distributor. If your purchasing has to go through a PO to an approved vendor, we cannot meet that today and we would rather say so than waste your time.
Will residents be able to move it, or pull it apart?
It lifts off the table easily by hand, which is deliberate — it is not fixed down. There is nothing to pull apart: no lid, no insert, no fastener, no separate pieces. It is one moulding.
We serve coffee in mugs. Is this useless to us?
For the mugs, yes. The handle lands where the fins grip. It is for the water and juice glasses that sit on the table through the meal and the activity. If your tables are mostly mugs, buy one and test it before you buy more — or do not buy it at all.
Does it mark the tables or the linen?
It marks nothing and lifts clean — that is the founder-confirmed behaviour. We have not tested it against every table finish or linen a building might have, so if yours is unusual, order one and try it before you order more.
Why does this site only sell one thing?
Because it is one thing. It is a Steadi, made by Steadi Labs in Orange, California, and checkout finishes at steadilabs.com. This page exists because "the glass on the dining table" is a specific enough problem in this specific setting to deserve a straight answer.
—Still deciding
Our residents will just take them.
Some will end up in resident rooms, which is arguably where a few of them should be. At $8.74 each in an eight it is a replaceable item rather than an asset to track.
We already have adaptive cups.
Then you have solved holding the cup, which we do not solve. This is for the glass sitting on the table between the times anyone is holding it.
I need to show this to someone before we buy.
Order one. It is $14.95 with free shipping and it will do more for that conversation than a page will.
Will it survive a commercial dishwasher?
It is dishwasher safe and it is one piece of TPU with nothing to work loose. We have not run it through a commercial machine ourselves, so that is the honest edge of what we can tell you — and the ninety days covers you if it goes badly.
Stop resetting the table.
Not every spill in the building. The one that happens at the same table, between the same two courses, most days.
